Welcome to Poncereau De Bas where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the perfect French holiday. 

Poncereau De Bas dates back to the 18th century where an infamous Baron was once resident.  In more recent years it was used as a working farm employing up to 60 people in its heyday.  Nowadays it has slightly more humble residents but its grandeur still remains.

We understand that your holiday is a very precious time for you and your family and here at Poncereau De Bas our aim is to provide you with the perfect setting to relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday.  We offer two cottages for hire, both with their own private garden and the larger of the two cottages, Wisteria Cottage,has its own private pool. The Cottages can be hired individually or together depending on your requirements.  We are not a gite 'complex' and have made a conscious effort to retain the tranquility, privacy and beauty of the properties and the surrounding 25 acres.

The properties are surrounded by an abundance of birds, wildlife, trees and plants whilst being only 5 minutes drive to the delightful market town of Cozes and 15 mins drive to the nearest beach and 20 mins drive to the busilng coastal town of Royan with a large sandy beach and multitude of various restaurants and cafes.

Both Cottages are fully modernised with new kitchens, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and TV/DVD player. Hollyhock cottage does have wireless internet access and Freeview Satalite television.
